Hey Young Chefs!
This past week, I went to New York City and ate at Iron Chef Morimoto’s restaurant, Morimoto NYC, in Chelsea. The food there was delicious! First we started with Tuna Pizza. It was a crispy tortilla as the crust. On top was tuna carpaccio, cilantro micro greens, and anchovy aioli.
Next, I ate Braised Black Cod in a hunger soy reduction. It cam in a bento box type of platter. There was steamed rice, miso soup, traditional crushed sesame salad, pickled cucumbers, and sliced carrots.
That was my whole meal. My mom ate Wagyu Beef with the same “sides” as me.
I got to meet Executive Chef Eric from the restaurant.

My server just so happened to be from Louisiana. Her name is Delilah and she was a fantastic server.
My mom and I both drank Morimoto Iced Tea. The iced tea was made with blueberries and was yummy.
For dessert, we ate Apple Bread Pudding with Green Tea Crumbles. It came with berries and a brown sugar ice cream. Mmm!
I had a wonderful time at Morimoto NYC and I would definitely eat there again.
